I am an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #140368.

I work with adult individuals.

I welcome people of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, and spiritual/religious affiliations.

Location

I work at 2222 Second Street (Suite 10) in Livermore, CA. This historic building does not have an elevator so there is also the option to meet via secure video telehealth.

Note: The COVID pandemic forced me to move beyond my technology bias and provide telehealth video sessions. I have been pleasantly surprised by the depth of work and connection that can be achieved through this medium. For those who face challenges due to physical mobility, transportation constraints, travel time/stress, or caregiving responsibilities, telehealth is an excellent option. All you need are a private space and a stable internet connection.

Fees

• 50-minute session for $160
• I have a limited number of sliding scale spaces.
• I have a 24-hour cancellation policy which means if you cancel within 24-hours of your appointment, you will be charged the session fee.
• I am an Out of Network Provider. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
• If you have PPO insurance, I can provide an invoice that you can submit for possible reimbursement. Contact your insurance company for more information.

Getting Started

• Email me (amymkitajima@gmail.com) or call me (925-404-7169) and we can set up a free 20-minute phone consultation to see if I can be of support to you.
• First Session – We meet and see if it’s a good match. You will have an opportunity to share your aspirations for our time together.
• Subsequent sessions – Generally I find that it is most beneficial to meet with clients on a weekly basis so I will reserve a day and time slot just for you.
